Right after Jake’s parents left I trekked to Key West for a few days and also got to see Julie’s place of employment in Naples. Ummm it’s gorgeous. Anyway, Key West was an amazingly good time and even though I have been there twice before this trip was the best by far. I can’t say we did a ton of touristy stuff- (and most of the pics shall remain private) but there are some gorgeous photos of the sunsets and such. As you may know I have not made a ton of friends in Austin yet- and even fewer girlfriends. Maybe this is because I have always had just a small group of girls that I call friends, but sometimes a weekend of side-splitting laughter is just what you need. Jen, Beth and Rachel (whom I had just met on this trip) honestly made me feel like I was just as much a part of their group as Julie, and I can’t wait to do another trip with them!
