So I just got my Flip video camera back this week and I am ecstatic to be able to take videos everywhere again. My original one had suffered a minor accident in London… Ok, I dropped it and the screen stopped displaying. It still worked, but made for some pretty awkward videos when I couldn’t see what I was shooting. But anyway, someone who works with my dad was able to call in a favor and get it replaced for me. I got back the same model and color that I had before: the Mino, in white. But now, when I looked at their site I see that they now have a section where you can upload a picture and choose your own design for the front! Bahh if only I’d known about this before. The next one I buy will be the HD version, with a cool design. Either way I still love my Flip and think it is the greatest invention ever. So, if you are looking for a grad/dad gift, or an easy to use camera— I highly recommend this one. SUPER easy to use, loads the software on your computer automatically, NO cords because of its built-in USB connector, and smaller than a cell phone.
