Once again, we tried to do in this illustration what we think the book does: fill in the gaps of our beloved characters with sparkly paste of history!
*The must read gossip rag of the era: Confidential.
*Some aspirin for hangovers, heartaches, and fussy bosses.
*The cosmetic essentials.
*A copy of the Steno Pool’s favorite steamy bathtime reading: Lady Chatterly’s lover.

REALLY great graphic sent to me by reader Andrew to help you remember which produce is low pesticide. Such a handy little guide to print and keep in your wallet. I love how the dirty dozen produce is crying! Thanks, Andrew!

So I forgot to post pics from my long weekend trip to St. Petersburg with a bunch of extended family that happened 2 weeks ago. Today I went and looked on my camera for the pics… I have 0. Instead all you get are these two blurry shots from my iPhone. But how cute is my cousin’s baby? I could just eat those chubby cheeks. Anyway, any family members reading this- please send me some pictures from the weekend. I know there were some good ones!

Looks like I got my wish of Miike Snow playing ACL so I wouldnt feel bad about only getting to see LCD Soundsystem in June. Bonus- LCD are playing at ACL too! But to be honest I’m probably most excited about The Eagles headlining. Does that make me a 50 year old white dude? Oh well. I grew up listening to them and my dad has always played their music on his guitar. I think I knew every word to Hotel California when I was like 7. So there are a bunch of acts I have never heard of, but there are a bunch that I’m genuinely excited about. And that’s sort of the point of ACL anyway, right? To find new music that you normally wouldn’t listen to. I’m pumped despite seeing a lot of people upset about the lineup. Can’t wait for October!

Yesterday we went to the Lone Star Jam concert in Waterloo Park and had an awesome time. There were about 7 different country bands and Eli Young Band closed out the night with an amazing performance. Even though I did get a little sunburned, the weather was perfect. It was a great day/night and I think we’ll definitely go again next year.

God that would have been awesome.
