Today I turned 24. Sort of a boring age, but not a boring birthday. It was an awesome day with lots of love from family and friends, and a day off to relax! (Much better than last year when my beloved Mac was put to sleep.) Thanks everyone!

“The 20s are a black box, and there is a lot of churning in there. One-third of people in their 20s move to a new residence every year. Forty percent move back home with their parents at least once. They go through an average of seven jobs in their 20s, more job changes than in any other stretch. Two-thirds spend at least some time living with a romantic partner without being married. And marriage occurs later than ever. The median age at first marriage in the early 1970s, when the baby boomers were young, was 21 for women and 23 for men; by 2009 it had climbed to 26 for women and 28 for men, five years in a little more than a generation.”—
What Is It About 20-Somethings?
These things make me feel better. It’s not just me!

I haven’t posted in forever. I’m sorry. Life is a little hectic right now. I got a job (yay!), part time (boo), but it least it’s something. We have had some visitors and we moved. I have lots of life updates and random pictures to post but in the meantime here is a pic of Jake and I and a bunch of our friends here in Austin (and Elisa from home!) on a party bus/float trip. Can you believe that a year ago I almost thought about moving back? Not only do we have friends- we have genuine friends. People I really like. A lot. But it goes without saying that I still really miss everyone in London, Pittsburgh, Maryland and DC! Come visit us in the new casa.

Here is our Joan wallpaper!
Once again, we tried to do in this illustration what we think the book does: fill in the gaps of our beloved characters with sparkly paste of history!
*The must read gossip rag of the era: Confidential.
*Some aspirin for hangovers, heartaches, and fussy bosses.
*The cosmetic essentials.

LOVE this graphic.
REALLY great graphic sent to me by reader Andrew to help you remember which produce is low pesticide. Such a handy little guide to print and keep in your wallet. I love how the dirty dozen produce is crying! Thanks, Andrew!
